1. The steel is of good tenacity, heat intensity, heat weary property and abrasion.

2. The steel is used to make casting die and hot extrusion die , tool for punching, mandril, press machine of forging die and plastic mould, etc.

3. Featrues:

--High heat strength and hardness

--High toughness, high thermal fatigue and wear-resistant

--Small heat deformation

--The tendency of the appearance of iron oxide scale is small in air quenching

4. Heat treatment:

--Annealed & hardness: 860-890°C, HB≤229

--Quenching: 1000-1030°C, oil cooling or air cooling

--Tempering & hardness: 560-580°C, tempering for two times, 47-49HRC

--Hardness: 53-55HRC

5. Application:

Used in manufacture of extrusion dies, the mandrel, the forging mold for die forging hammer, forging press dies and die insert for precision forging machine as well as aluminum, copper die-casting mold
