4. Size: Dia 20-400mm, forged or hot rolled, black or machined surface

5. Smelting characteristic:

--Excellent hardenability, toughness and performance of fine grain

--The use of  Electric arc furnace (EAF)+ refining(LF)+ Vacuum degassing(VD)make the production of die steel are in high purity and good performance, ESR furnace for optional 

6. Featrues:

--High heat strength and hardness

--High toughness, high thermal fatigue and wear-resistant

--Small heat deformation

--The tendency of the appearance of iron oxide scale is small in air quenching

7. Heat treatment:

--Annealed & hardness: 860-890°C, HB≤229

--Quenching: 1000-1030°C, oil cooling or air cooling

--Tempering & hardness: 560-580°C, tempering for two times, 47-49HRC

--Hardness: 53-55HRC

8. Application:

Used in manufacture of extrusion dies, the mandrel, the forging mold for die forging hammer, forging press dies and die insert for precision forging machine as well as aluminum, copper die-casting mold
